The 25hours Hotel The Olympia is the first 25hours in Australia, located in the vibrant suburb of Paddington in Sydney. The building itself was formerly a popular cinema, which opened in 1911 and reflects its rich history throughout the guest experience.The hotel has 109 rooms on six floors and will feature event and meeting areas, a Levantine restaurant, a street café, and a rooftop bar with a view of the Sydney City Skyline. A new era awaits at the 25hours Hotel The Olympia which will shape and transform Paddington, welcoming a vibrant and diverse team, bringing its vision to life.At 25hours, we don’t just provide a stay, we create an experience. As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the front line of that mission, playing a key role in generating business, building partnerships, and turning leads into long-term relationships.Working closely with the General Manager and revenue team, you’ll champion everything that makes 25hours different — from our vibrant hotel spaces to our buzzing restaurants and cultural programming — making sure we’re top-of-mind for clients, agencies, and collaborators across Sydney and beyond.Job DescriptionThis is your daily contribution to make 25hours the most talked-about destination:Drive new business across key segments — corporate, MICE, leisure, consortia, and entertainment — keeping the pipeline fresh and future-focused.Proactively seek out sales opportunities, from cold calls and site inspections to networking events and industry showcases.Build and maintain strong relationships with travel buyers, agents, event planners, and local businesses.Develop tailored proposals, pitch creative ideas, and close deals that deliver both revenue and memorable guest experiences.Collaborate with the marketing and F&B teams on activations, packages, and experiences that drive interest and conversions.Represent 25hours at industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings — always flying the flag for the brand.Stay ahead of trends in travel, hospitality, and lifestyle to keep your sales strategy current and compelling.Manage key accounts and long-term partnerships with care, ensuring retention and repeat business.Contribute to forecasts, reporting, and analysis to track performance and uncover new opportunities.Bring the 25hours spirit into every pitch, meeting, and deal — bold, authentic, and always a little unexpected.QualificationsWe are looking for you – with personality and that certain something:Proven track record in sales or business development within hospitality, lifestyle, or creative industries.You know how to connect with people, whether it’s a boardroom presentation or a casual coffee with a client.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and turn leads into wins.Experience in the Sydney market is a must — you know the city, the players, and the pulse of the industry.Pre-opening or new-launch experience is a plus — you understand the hustle and the opportunity that comes with building a pipeline from scratch.You’re a great storyteller, communicator, and relationship-builder who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment.You’re creative, curious, and not afraid to do things differently — the 25hours way.You're up for trying (almost) everything once and having fun along the way.Additional InformationWhat’s in it for you…Join an innovative, fast-growing, international group that’s committed to not just building new hotels but building a global brand.The chance to challenge the norm and work in an environment that is both creative and rewarding.Become part of a team that’s very passionate about creating great hospitality experiences and building a portfolio of brands.A competitive package and plenty of opportunity for development.You ready?
