JOB TITLE: Florist Courier – Using Own Vehicle
About the Role
We're looking for a dependable, switched-on courier to deliver fresh flower arrangements across the local area. This role suits someone who likes fast-paced work, and takes pride in handling delicate items with care. You'll be representing the shop on the road.
Responsibilities
* Pick up floral orders from the shop and deliver them to customers, businesses, hospitals, and events.
* Handle arrangements with care to avoid damage during transport.
* Follow delivery routes efficiently and adapt when needed (traffic, last-minute orders, etc).
* Communicate clearly with the shop team regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
* Proof of delivery when required.
* Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle suitable for transporting floral items.
* Provide friendly, respectful service at every drop-off.
Requirements
* Must have your own reliable, insured vehicle suitable for transporting delicate items.
* Valid driver's licence.
* knowledge of local streets and suburbs.
* Ability to lift and carry arrangements safely (up to ~10–15 kg).
* Punctual, organised, and trustworthy.
* Able to manage time well and handle multiple deliveries in one run.
* Basic smartphone skills (maps, messaging, photos for proof of delivery).
