Service Advisor Role Summary
The Service Advisor will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional support and advice to valued members and customers. This pivotal role involves liaising between technicians and customers, ensuring a seamless and professional service experience from booking through to vehicle collection.
This is an exciting opportunity for motivated customer service professionals who are passionate about the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the member experience during the vehicle service process, including coordinating with technicians and communicating with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet members and confirm vehicle information, including make, model, and type of service or repair issue
* Provide estimates for repair and maintenance services, explaining the work to be performed, offering appropriate recommendations for additional works
* Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
* Provide regular updates to members on the status of their vehicle
* Handle member concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
* Prepare and complete repair orders
Requirements:
* Outstanding professional customer relationship management skills, including problem-solving and conflict resolution
* Technical knowledge of automotive repairs and servicing (desirable)
* Sound administrative/clerical skills
* High-level verbal and written communication skills
* Effective teamwork skills and ability to develop positive workplace relationships
