Description Founded in 1997, Parkview Constructions are a multi-award-winning company committed to integrity, excellence and innovation in both residential and commercial construction, with over 180 staff across multiple projects within the Sydney Metropolitan region. Due to continued growth, we are looking for another Estimator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Estimating & Bid Management, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Responsibilities Review and generate an accurate Estimate of Cost of elements and trades. Identify detailed project risks and issues and elevate to senior management. Conduct detailed handover of successful tender information. Measure and estimate detailed quantity and price breakdown for all elements and trades. Prepare feasibility estimates at various stages of project in accordance with cost control activities. Attend and report at design team, internal and client meetings. Technical and arithmetic checking of subcontract tenders in support of procurement department. Ensure appropriate preparation of documentation for subcontract contracts. Build relationships with internal departments and external supplies/subcontractors. Reviewing of Subcontractors tendered information with project site team. Supply detailed estimate extrinsic information to construction team for downstream usage eg: cash flow, programming, critical path. Develop and expand the knowledge of the Estimating team, including taking a lead mentoring role for those participating in the Estimating Training Development Program. Skills & experience: Degree qualification in Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying Proven track record of delivering tenders for residential and commercial projects over $30M Strong administration and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail and passion for delivering work to a high standard Knowledge of Sydney construction market and subcontractors (ideally) Experience using Buildsoft (Cubit) and BidContender (an advantage, but not essential) In return for your hard work, we offer an excellent salary package ( negotiable based on experience ), a strong family culture, stable work and real opportunities for continued growth and development.
