THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance - Mobile Fitter to join our local team at Leichhardt. This is a residential role working event time. 3 days, 3 nights 6 off. No FIFO required - ideal for someone who wants to be home every night while working with a respected company that values safety, collaboration, and innovation.
You'll be responsible for keeping our site running smoothly by attending breakdowns, performing scheduled servicing, and completing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs. You'll also ensure all maintenance records are kept up to date and work closely with other teams on site to maintain safe and reliable operations.
What You'll Be Doing
* Respond to breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance
* Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of equipment
* Build hydraulic hoses and complete electrical troubleshooting
* Record all maintenance tasks in Pronto and complete service logs
* Collect oil samples and follow site maintenance procedures
* Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders
* Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by following HSE procedures and reporting hazards
What We're Looking For
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in maintaining and repairing Heavy mobile equipment
* Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
* Familiarity with systems (Pronto desirable)
* Strong safety focus and willingness to follow procedures
* Reliable, local candidate with good time management and a team mindset
* Willing to attend training and development sessions
* Previous mining industry experience (advantageous)
* Previous Salt & Gypsum processing experience (advantageous)
