The work supports initiatives with real community impact, bringing together research, evidence and stakeholder input to drive lasting change. Your new team is seeking experienced Project Managers at the APS6 and EL1 level to support delivery across multiple workstreams. Your new role
You will join a fast-paced program environment supporting the delivery of large, multi-stream initiatives. Working closely with senior leaders, you will drive planning, reporting and coordination across interconnected workstreams. At the EL1 level, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, working with limited direction and providing advice to senior stakeholders.
You will lead planning, governance, reporting and capability uplift across the program. At the APS6 level, you will support project delivery through strong coordination, reporting and analysis. You will work closely with senior project managers to maintain delivery rhythms and ensure high-quality outputs.
The key responsibilities across both roles include: Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules and reporting Coordinating workstreams and tracking progress against key milestones
Supporting governance, reporting and program documentation Identifying risks, issues and dependencies and escalating where required Preparing high-quality briefing materials, reports and presentations
Applying business analysis to support program insights and decision-making Supporting agile delivery practices and routines Working closely with internal stakeholders to strengthen planning and delivery discipline
Contributing to capability uplift through knowledge sharing and process improvement What you'll need to succeed You will have experience delivering complex project management across multiple workstreams within the Federal Government.
You will also have: Strong understanding of government program delivery, governance and reporting frameworks Proven ability to provide clear, accurate and timely reporting to senior leadership
Experience working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at all levels Confidence identifying risks and challenging existing ways of working
Experience supporting or leading capability uplift and continuous improvement initiatives To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have a Government security clearance at the baseline level or higher. What you'll get in return
