Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Asset Maintenance Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and be responsible for a range of tasks related to asset maintenance, including furniture and equipment arrangements, purchasing of consumables, and distribution of mail and goods.
The successful candidate will work closely with other staff members within the Facilities department to service the diverse needs of the Institute. This position requires effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with a broad range of internal and external clients.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Asset Maintenance Officer will interact daily with external suppliers of equipment and resources to ensure that facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and attractive condition consistent with sustainable and environmentally sensitive practices and Workplace Health and Safety legislation and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Assets Maintenance or relevant experience in a cleaning or asset maintenance role
* A current Driver's License
* Employee Victorian Working with Children Check and satisfactory Police Check
