Freelance events opportunity for a Christmas activation. Aquent is working with a shopping centre group to recruit an Events Manager for a Santa Photography activation.
Role and details
The event will run from 28 October until Christmas Eve. On-site in South East Melbourne, 38 hours a week, Wednesday–Sunday.
Base pay
A$45.00/hr
Pay: A$45/hr + Super
Location: Melbourne

Responsibilities
Manage the Santa Photography activation during the seasonal period.
Coordinate events logistics and on-site operations.
Lead and train staff; manage a team and schedule shifts.
Engage with stakeholders and maintain strong communication.
Requirements
Events experience in retail or customer service.
Experience managing people and training staff.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent organisation and project management skills.
Availability to work weekends with varied hours day-to-day.
