Qualifications
* Tertiary degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology (5th year completed – Masters Degree for Psychology applicants)
* Registration with AHPRA, AASW or ASORC
* Passionate about helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Innovative mindset – bring new ideas to the table
Responsibilities
* Deliver assessments and counselling to individuals dealing with sudden changes in career goals and circumstances
* Conduct assessments to guide clients toward new career paths
* Collaborate and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients
* Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design, implement and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
* Visit workplaces to understand challenges faced by injured and ill workers and educate employers on health benefits of good work practices
