Job Description:
The primary goal of this role is to drive a proactive and robust risk management culture across the entire organization. This entails partnering with all divisions to ensure effective risk management practices are in place, and regulatory, legislative, and compliance requirements are met through risk and assurance support.
This involves conducting business impact assessments, managing potential loss to the business, and working closely with relevant business areas to ensure they have up-to-date business continuity plans (BCPs) including development and implementation of a testing program.
You will also be responsible for coordinating crisis simulation exercises, updating the Crisis Management Plan, and managing and administering the fraud analytic platform on behalf of the Group.
Additionally, you will provide support to the business, training, and ensuring the Enterprise Risk system is up-to-date.
This role requires a strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and audit frameworks, as well as the ability to interpret legislation and an understanding of compliance frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary degree qualifications in Business or a related discipline
* Minimum 5 – 10 years' experience in risk management
* Demonstrated prior experience with ISO 31000:2018
* Experience in risk management, compliance, and audit frameworks
* Ability to interpret legislation and an understanding of compliance frameworks
* Confidence in preparing Board papers/business cases
