About the Role
Due to growth within our team, an opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Manager to join our fresh produce business in a full-time capacity. You will be responsible for ensuring the management of the company logistics, warehouses across multiple sites and smooth day to day operations working with Senior Management.
The ideal candidate will be both a natural communicator and organised; with a high level of attention to detail with logistics and warehousing management experience.
The role is responsible for the operations, facilities, logistics and warehousing of WA Farm Direct at all sites. This includes team management, equipment maintenance and procurement. This role will also be required to implement metrics to report on the operations, facilities and logistics to the Managing Director and Senior Management staff.
The role is 5 days per week, based in Canning Vale with a 5.00am start.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Team Management
2. Management of site logistics, warehousing and facilities
3. Stock planning with Senior Category Managers
4. Management of receipting deliveries in and out of computer system; Fresh
5. Equipment maintenance management
6. Procurement across all sites
7. Quality and safety management processes including WHS
8. Management of Pallets, bins and crates
Skills & Experience Required
1. Logistics and Warehousing experience
2. Work Health & Safety knowledge
3. Excellent Microsoft Skills, including Word and Excel
4. A strong work ethic, the ability to work autonomously and within a team
5. Experience in fresh produce would be ideal but is not a necessity
