Please note: This role is based in our Perth office in WA. Remote work outside this location is not permitted. Salary range: $90,000-$150,000 AUD, commensurate with experience and qualifications. What You'll Do Tackle diverse projects, from a few days to several months, for clients ranging from local businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Work with various data sources (relational databases, flat files, Excel, HDFS/Big Data systems, analytical databases, etc.) to unify client data. Collaborate with users to understand their needs and support them with optimal solutions. Solve data acquisition, integration, and management challenges. Create ETL processes tailored to client needs while managing expectations. What You'll Need Must-Haves Excellent SQL skills. Strong ETL proficiency using GUI tools or coding patterns. Understanding of data modeling principles. Passion for delivering solutions that exceed client expectations. Excellent communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Business acumen. A desire to learn. Adaptability and flexibility. Nice to Have Experience with software engineering practices. Knowledge of modern data engineering frameworks. Experience integrating semi-structured files and APIs. Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica, Matillion, Fivetran, dbt. Cloud exposure with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
