About the Role
The successful candidate will provide exceptional service, supporting clients to achieve their goals in their NDIS plan, including:
* Assisting with independence and community participation
* Collaborating with families and support networks
* Maintaining accurate records via progress notes
* Adhering to the NDIS Code of Conduct
* Providing access to community activities and domestic support
Key Responsibilities
The Support Worker will be responsible for:
1. Delivering high-quality support that enables clients to reach their full potential
2. Building strong relationships with clients and their support networks
3. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of client progress
4. Ensuring compliance with NDIS policies and procedures
5. Providing transport and other forms of support as required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* NDIS Worker Screening certification
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Working with Children Check clearance
* Understanding of NDIS principles and practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* Eligibility to work in Australia
