About the Program
* Location: Ipswich (Western Corridor)
* Duration: 20 weeks, supervised traineeship
* Positions available: 13 trainees
* Target participants: Women returning to work, disadvantaged jobseekers, and First Nations people.
What You'll Gain
Nationally recognised qualification – Certificate I in Work Skills
Wrap-around support with driving lessons
Hands-on experience in:
1. Customer service & visitor engagement
2. Event management & community engagement
3. Tourism operations & sponsorship activities
4. Social media design, posting & monthly newsletters
Practical workshops, including:
5. Cyber Security Workshop (2 days)
6. Finance & Money Management Workshop (1 day)
Contribution to Ipswich's growing tourism industry through heritage train rides, themed events & historical experiences
