The Opportunity A respected healthcare publishing and insights organisation is seeking a commercially astute Head of Sales to lead revenue growth across healthcare advertising, data solutions and custom commercial partnerships.
Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the senior leadership team, this is a highly visible role where you will drive your own strategic accounts while leading a team of Sales Executives, Business Development Managers and Sales Operations professionals.

You will play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth as the business continues its transformation into a digitally enabled, data-driven organisation serving the healthcare sector.
What you’ll be doing
* Own and grow strategic revenue relationships across pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations.
* Lead consultative sales conversations across advertising, data products and commercial solutions.
* Drive team performance through coaching, clarity and structured leadership.
* Build strong forecasting discipline and pipeline visibility across all revenue streams.
* Partner closely with editorial and operational teams to deliver commercially successful outcomes while respecting governance requirements.
* Act as a senior figurehead within the organisation, supporting broader leadership and helping build confidence through a period of change and growth.

* Consistent delivery against individual and team sales targets.
* Growth in healthcare advertising and data-led revenue streams.
* Strong pipeline health and forecast accuracy.
* A capable, motivated sales team operating with clear systems and support.
* Stable, predictable transactional income and high account retention.
About you
You are a seasoned B2B sales professional with strong commercial judgement and a collaborative leadership style. You may be stepping into your first formal Head of Sales role, but you bring the maturity, structure and confidence to operate at senior leadership level.
You are likely to bring:
* 8+ years’ experience in B2B sales environments.
* Exposure to healthcare, media, advertising or data-led commercial solutions.
* Experience leading or coaching sales teams, including teams you have inherited.
* Strong forecasting, CRM and sales process discipline.
* A supportive, people-focused leadership approach that drives performance through clarity and trust rather than pressure.
