Inpartnership with the Head of Primary Arts and Languages, theteacher will deliver the academic program in a way that fosters thepursuit of excellence and the attainment of each student'spotential.All teachers in the Primary School have a responsibility for theholistic development of students, the pastoral care system andco-curricular program play a vital role in this holisticdevelopment, with participation in these areas an expectation ofthe teacher.In order to develop deep understanding in their students thePrimary School Music Teacher utilises an inquiry process oflearning in addition to teaching the planned content knowledge andskills.
The preferred candidate will also have training and anapplied understanding of philosophies underpinning the Orff andKodaly approaches to music education.
