About the Role
We are seeking a Structural Engineer or Experienced Draftsperson to join our Mackay team, with some intermittent mine site work required.
You will be responsible for:
* Conducting structural audits and inspections.
* Taking precise site measurements for replacement components.
* Producing accurate and high-quality engineering drawings for fabrication and installation.
About You
* Proven experience as a mechanical and/or structural engineer or draftsperson in the mining industry.
* Proficient in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of industry standards and codes such as AS4100 and AS1657.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate work on time.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Self-motivated and able to manage workloads independently.
* Current, or able to obtain, a Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Surface Induction.
