We are seeking two focussed and committed individuals who can work as part of a team to deliver quality customer service and ensure Council's supplier invoices are processed in a timely manner.
Council's Accounts Payable section is a key area of Council's financial operations. This position requires a person with sound computer and communication skills and an eye for detail.
* Two (2) permanent positions available.
* Permanent, full‐time (35 hours per week).
* Remuneration of $2,582.98 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,099.58 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
* Process invoices, contracts, purchase orders, credit notes, claims for expenses and refund applications for payment.
* Process payment runs to Council's suppliers.
* Action customer and supplier requests and follow up outstanding invoices.
* Maintain supplier account details and set up new supplier accounts within Councils Accounts Payable Chart of Accounts.
* Reconcile monthly supplier statements to Council's Accounts Payable ledger and action any unpaid invoices.
What You Will Need To Succeed
* Holds a Certificate IV in Business Administration, Finance or has equivalent experience.
* Has demonstrated experience relevant to the role such as Business or Finance Administration.
* Has strong time management, planning, administration and computer skills.
* Has great attention to detail.
