The Opportunity - You will be a strategic, confident leader, strategic thinker and experienced Senior Category Manager to lead our Facilities Management Services procurement function. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and executing category strategies across a diverse range of services including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building services, and vertical transport.
Responsibilities
* Developing and executing category strategies across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, building services, and vertical transport.
* Leading a team with end-to-end procurement processes including tenders, supplier negotiations, and contract drafting.
* Drive vendor performance through regular reviews, risk management, and innovation initiatives.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and excellence.
* Contribute to financial planning through budget and forecast input.
What you need
* A degree in commerce, finance, procurement, or a related field.
* Minimum 8 years' experience in procurement, ideally within facilities management.
* Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and collaboration skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
* Full Australian work rights.
