About the role
We are seeking a motivated and talented Graduate Engineer to join our team at Romeo Engineering Consultants. As a Graduate Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our civil and structural engineering projects, contributing to the delivery of innovative solutions for our clients. This is a full-time position offering excellent opportunities for professional development and growth within our organisation.
What you'll be doing
1. Assist with the design and analysis of a range of civil and structural engineering projects, including residential and commercial projects ranging in size.
2. Participate in site visits and inspections to gather information and monitor project progress
3. Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and reports to document project deliverables
4. Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project objectives are met
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and standards
What we're looking for
1. A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
3. Basic experience/understanding in using engineering software. Including autoCAD and structural analysis programs.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
5. A keen interest in learning, growing, and contributing to the success of our projects
6. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
7. Willingness to undertake site visits and work on a range of engineering projects
