This is an prospect to combine practical fieldwork with technical quality assurance, ensuring projects meet the highest standards.The RoleAs a Field Technician, you'll work across live projects and asphalt production sites, carrying out quality testing to verify compaction, density, and material compliance.
You'll operate coring equipment, collect samples, complete field density tests, and report results for both client and internal compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesExtract asphalt cores and conduct field sampling/testingPerform density testing using nuclear and non-nuclear gaugesRecord, analyse, and report quality results to supervisors and clientsMaintain and calibrate testing equipment and toolsWork safely on active roadworks and construction sitesSupport continuous improvement of quality assurance systemsAbout YouPrevious experience in asphalt or construction materials testing preferredWhite Card (Construction Induction) requiredNuclear Density Gauge licence (or willingness to obtain)Physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor workStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyWillingness to travel to metro and regional projects as requiredTeam player with a safety-first mindsetWhy Join Us?
