Eye See Eyes is looking for a friendly and reliable Optical Assistant to join our team two days per week, with the flexibility to cover additional hours during sick/annual leave. As you gain confidence in the role, there’s also an opportunity to take on Saturday shifts (9 AM – 2 PM).About the Role:As an Optical Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. Your role will involve:Managing reception duties – greeting patients, handling phone inquiries, and booking appointments.Processing payments and assisting with health fund claims.Handling administrative tasks, including data entry and maintaining patient records.Learning and using Optomate Touch, our practice management system.Providing general support to the team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.What We’re Looking For: A friendly, professional, and engaging personality – someone who makes patients feel welcome. Excellent communication skills – clear, confident, and customer-focused. Strong computer skills – ability to learn new systems quickly. Attention to detail – accurate data entry and record-keeping. Organised and proactive approach to reception and admin duties.
