We are looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join a small, dedicated team to service and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles
Key Responsibilities
* Service and repair fleet vehicles including side loaders, rear loaders, semi-trailers, small plant trucks, prime movers, forklifts, and loaders.
* Conduct scheduled maintenance every 500 hours and attend to urgent repairs as needed.
* Occasionally assist offsite with breakdowns.
About You
* 8-10 years of mechanic experience, preferably in the waste industry. Experience with hydraulics is advantageous.
* Must have a valid Driver's Licence; MR, HR, HC, or FLD licences are a plus.
* WWCC and Police Check required.
* Strong knowledge of OHS.
* Able to work both in a team and independently.
* Willingness to assist the onsite engineer with TA-type tasks as needed.
* Reside locally or within a reasonable commuting distance.
