The Opportunity
This business are seeking an experienced and detail focused Site Foreperson to join their expanding Byron Bay team, working on an ultra-high-end hospitality fit-out project.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a premium project with an emphasis on refined detail and finish quality. You'll be supported by a highly experienced and hands on leadership team who foster clear communication and on-site autonomy.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing all on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification Coordinating trades, subcontractors, deliveries and site logistics Maintaining strict adherence to build quality and architectural detail Enforcing HSEQ compliance and fostering a safe, productive site culture Conducting daily site inspections, toolbox talks and subcontractor meetings Liaising with consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve design and buildability issues Contributing to look-ahead programs and reporting on site progress About You Trade background in carpentry or equivalent, with solid technical knowledge 5+ years of experience in a Foreperson/Site Manager role on ultra-high-end commercial or hospitality fit-outs Proven ability to manage tight programs, intricate finishes and coordination-heavy sites A calm, solution-focused communicator who can lead from the front Strong understanding of OHS legislation and construction methodologies Eye for quality and the confidence to uphold high standards across all trades In Return Salary package of up to $190,000 depending on experience A collaborative, values-driven culture that genuinely supports its people – recognised by making the Great Place to Work list for 9 years running A visually stunning, architecturally ambitious hospitality project you'll be proud to put your name to with further high-end work following on from this A business that values long-term careers and invests in your professional growth Access to a comprehensive range of employee benefits including wellbeing days, team events, L&D budgets, service recognition programs and more How to Apply
