Delaware North Australia is seeking a full-time Assistant Cafe Manager to join our vibrant Rustica & Little Italy venues at Melbourne Airport. What you will do?:
- Assist in managing day-to-day café and restaurant operations with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Champion exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Drive financial performance through budget management, stock control and labour oversight
- Ensure compliance with OH&S; and food safety standards
- Lead, train and motivate a diverse team to consistently exceed expectations
- Promote and celebrate our food and beverage offering, ensuring staff are knowledgeable and guests are engaged
More about you:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a busy cafe or restaurant setting
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Energetic, guest-focused and self-motivated with strong leadership skills
- Skilled in team development, recruitment and performance coaching
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
