Your Role
As a Correctional Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering healthcare services within correctional facilities. Responsibilities may include:
* Conducting health assessments and triage for patients
* Delivering primary healthcare and clinical care within a secure environment
* Administering medications and managing chronic health conditions
* Responding to medical emergencies and urgent care needs
* Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and custodial staff
* Providing health education and supporting patient wellbeing
What We're Looking For
* Current AHPRA registration
* Minimum 2+ years' primary healthcare experience
* Previous correctional or custodial health experience (highly regarded)
* Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
* Up-to-date immunisations
* Australian working rights
