About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Operating Theatre (OT) and Anaesthetic work at Darwin Hospital (RDPH). The role involves perioperative nursing, anaesthetic support, and PACU care for a variety of surgical procedures.
Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 5 years Operating Theatre / Anaesthetic experience
* PACU / Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit training preferred
* N2 level competency or higher
* Strong perioperative skills, clinical assessment, and teamwork
Contract Details
Role: Registered Nurse - OT / Anaesthetic
Start Date: 12/02/2026
End Date: 6-12 weeks from commencement
Nursing Level: RN
Facility: Darwin Hospital (RDPH)
State: Northern Territory
Placement Duration: Minimum 6 weeks, up to 12 weeks
On Call: As per roster
Bed and Scope of the Hospital
* Operating Theatres: Multiple surgical theatres
* Anaesthetic / PACU support for adults and paediatrics
