Job Description Navitas is seeking an experienced

International Admissions Manager

to lead the delivery of high‑quality international admissions and compliance operations within the Careers & Industry Division. This role is responsible for overseeing international admissions processes across multiple institutions, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and an outstanding experience for students and agents. The International Admissions Manager will lead the admissions team, manage complex compliance matters, and work closely with internal stakeholders to optimise systems, processes, and policies that support sustainable international growth. The role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with Australian regulatory frameworks while driving continuous improvement in admissions operations, service delivery, and data management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the International Admissions team, ensuring effective performance, clear accountability, and a culture of high‑quality service delivery.

Oversee the assessment and processing of international student applications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to institutional and regulatory requirements.

Manage the issuance of Confirmations of Enrolment (CoE) through PRISMS, ensuring compliance with visa and regulatory frameworks.

Provide strategic oversight of Genuine Student (GS) assessments, visa risk indicators, and admissions decision‑making processes.

Ensure compliance with the

ESOS Act, National Code of Practice, and Australian student visa regulations, maintaining strong governance across admissions activities.

Act as the key escalation point for complex admissions, visa, and compliance matters, working closely with senior leadership where required.

Maintain oversight of student records and admissions data within CRM and student management systems including

Salesforce, Navigate, StudyLink, and Banner, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Collaborate with Recruitment, Student Services, Compliance, and Market teams to align admissions processes with institutional and market strategies.

Lead training and capability development for admissions staff and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure consistent interpretation of policies and procedures.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems, workflows, and operational processes to enhance efficiency and compliance outcomes.

Support audit preparation, compliance reporting, and internal reviews related to international admissions operations.

Qualifications

3–5 years’ experience in international admissions or compliance within the higher education sector.

Demonstrated leadership experience managing or supervising admissions or compliance teams.

Strong working knowledge of

PRISMS, the ESOS Act, National Code, and Australian student visa requirements .

Experience working with CRM and student management systems such as

Salesforce, StudyLink, Navigate and/or Banner .

Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail when managing complex compliance matters.

Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across teams and institutions.

Strong problem‑solving ability and sound professional judgement.

Ability to lead operational improvements while maintaining compliance and service quality in a fast‑paced environment.
