Overview

The University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) invites applications for Lecturers in Management – Education Specialists. Appointments will be offered as Education Specialist roles. Full-time, continuing appointment (37.5 hours/week). Location: Toowoomba or Springfield Campus.

As of 2 January 2026, the School of Business will merge with other organizational units to form a new School of Business, Law, Humanities and Pathways. Opportunities are available for passionate and committed educators to join our academic team.


Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching in Management at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
* Contribute to innovative and reflective scholarly teaching practices.
* Embed employability, digital literacy, and inclusive principles into teaching.
* Engage in professional development and scholarly activities to maintain discipline expertise.
* Participate in service and engagement activities within the School, profession, and broader community.
* Support continuous improvement in learning and teaching quality, aligned with UniSQ's Academic Employee Expectations Framework.


What you'll bring

* Hold a doctoral or master's qualification in Management or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
* Demonstrate teaching expertise in Management in a higher education setting.
* Evidence of reflective, engaged, and scholarly approaches to teaching that improve student outcomes and graduate employability.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build constructive and collaborative relationships.
* Align with UniSQ's core values of Respect, Integrity, and Excellence.

Details

* Salary: Total remuneration range $133,256 to $157,504 per annum (includes salary range of $112,381 to $132,831 per annum, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading).
* Other: Leave loading, 17% employer superannuation contributions.
* Location: Toowoomba or Springfield Campus.
* Right to work: You must have the right to work in Australia.
* Reference numbers: 0120_08/25 and 0121_08/25.
* Term: Full-time continuing appointment (37.5 hours/week).
* Closes: Thursday, 25 September 2025 at 11:30 pm (AEST).
* Start date: Not earlier than 2 January 2026.
