Brunel is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support our Operator clients Fixed Equipment Integrity team, working across both onshore and offshore LNG assets.
Based in Perth with occasional site travel, this role reports to the Integrity Team Lead and offers the chance to provide technical guidance on the integrity and reliability of pressure equipment across two world-class facilities.

Description
* Provide mechanical engineering support for the integrity of pressure equipment including piping, vessels, atmospheric tanks, heat exchangers, and pressure relief devices.
* Ensure FEI mechanical systems comply with corporate, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
* Act as subject matter expert for bolted joints - supporting assembly, design, and troubleshooting.
* Lead FEI Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments and develop appropriate repair strategies.
* Contribute to RBI Expert Group processes and assist in developing integrity management plans.
* Support MOC functional reviews and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Maintenance, Reliability, Designs Engineering, Planning, Production).
* Provide site-based technical support for Turnaround planning and execution.
Profile
Must-Have:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Practical, pragmatic approach to problem solving.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to evaluate operational risks related to equipment integrity.
Desirable:
* Operational experience in LNG or complex processing plants.
* Knowledge of Fitness for Service assessments.
* Experience in bolted joint, piping stress, and pressure vessel design.
