Create impact. Build belonging. Empower student voice.

Who you are

You bring energy, initiative, and a strong sense of purpose to your work. You are passionate about creating a vibrant, inclusive and student-centred experience, one where every student feels welcomed, represented, and connected. If you’re passionate about empowering students to lead, influence, and co-create their university experience, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

What you'll do

In the first 6-12 months, you will help shape a thriving campus environment by contributing to major student events, such as Orientation days, supporting student sport, leadership and representation, and strengthening connections between students and the University. A key part of the role involves strengthening student partnership by supporting the Student Senate and helping students participate meaningfully in decision making. If you thrive on building community, turning ideas into action, and empowering others- this role is for you.

What will help you succeed

It is essential you hold relevant qualifications or extensive experience in event management, student engagement, or project coordination, with a proven ability to deliver inclusive and impactful student events and initiatives.

You will thrive in this role if you:

* Have experience coordinating large-scale and high-profile student events
* Build strong relationships with ease.
* Are organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities with confidence.
* Get excited about events, student engagement, leadership development, and community building.
* Are passionate about fostering belonging and inclusion in every interaction.

If you’re excited by the idea of helping students feel seen, supported, and empowered, we’d love to hear from you.
