Role Description
This full-time, on-site role as a Heavy Duty Mechanic is based in Bunbury, WA. The Heavy Duty Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a range of heavy machinery and vehicles, including heavy equipment, trucks, and earthmoving machinery. Day-to-day tasks involve performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting repairs or component replacements, and ensuring all equipment meets operational and safety standards. Additionally, the Heavy Duty Mechanic will work collaboratively with the wider team to minimize downtime and support the seamless running of projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance
Skilled in Equipment Repair and troubleshooting mechanical issues
Experience working with Heavy Equipment and related systems
A qualification in mechanics or a related field is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to standards
Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
Prior experience in the mining, construction, or civil sectors is advantageous
