This newly created opportunity is ideal for an experienced
Injury Management & Wellbeing Officer
who thrives in a collaborative, people-first environment.
You'll play a pivotal role in driving injury prevention, proactive return-to-work initiatives, and wellbeing strategies across a large and diverse workforce — helping to embed a positive health and safety culture from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote a positive, solutions-focused safety culture across all levels of the organisation
* Coordinate early intervention and recovery-at-work programs for both work-related and non-work-related injuries or illness
* Support the implementation of the organisation's Health, Wellbeing and Return-to-Work strategies
* Manage workers' compensation claims and facilitate communication with insurers, treatment providers and internal stakeholders
* Contribute to safety and wellbeing training and awareness programs
About You
* Tertiary qualifications as an Allied Health professional (Physio, OT, Psych, Exercise Phys, etc.) and/or relevant experience
* Current Return-to-Work Coordinator accreditation
* Experience managing workers' compensation claims, rehabilitation, and recovery-at-work processes
* Current driver's licence
Desirable:
* Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
