The Opportunity
Our client, a thriving Australian success story, is seeking a capable Financial Accountant to join their Brisbane team on a permanent basis.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure across the full finance function and the chance to make a real impact in a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including management and statutory accounts.
Perform group consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and foreign currency accounting.
Oversee taxation compliance, including Company Tax, BAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax filings.
Manage payroll accounting and maintain fixed asset registers (additions, disposals, depreciation).
Document and improve finance policies, processes, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with operations on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
Support AR/AP activities, assist with audits, and undertake other financial accounting duties as required.

Experience working with FMCG/Manufacturing industry.
Experience of working with ERP systems and strong MS Excel experience.
