About the opportunity
* This position is based at Mercy Hospital for Women, and encompasses a caseload across inpatient, outpatient, and the Emergency Department.
* This position is a 4 day per week Social Work role at Grade 2, with year to be determined.
* This position will form part of an integral multi‐disciplinary team, required to provide highly responsive and flexible services to consumers while upholding a high level of professionalism and practising within core values of Mercy Health.
* The team sits within the Social Work Department which encourages continued learning, the fostering of supportive collegiate relationships, and promotes staff wellbeing within a dynamic, fast‐paced setting.
What you'll bring
* Demonstrated time‐management and organisational skills, strongly developed multidisciplinary teamwork capabilities, and ability to supervise Grade 1 Social Workers and students.
* Adaptive, creative, with a commitment for patient‐focused care.
* Prior hospital experience is highly desirable.
Required evidence
* A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
