The role of Financial Controller involves overseeing the financial services executed by offshore teams, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in reporting. This includes carrying out financial governance review and analysis, maintaining strong financial controls and a low risk balance sheet.

This position requires expertise in US & AU GAAP, partnering with offshore and outsource teams to prepare statutory reports and liaising with external Auditors to finalize Statutory Audits.

Key responsibilities include working closely with the business and rest of finance to ensure accurate financial results are presented and comply with Kimberly-Clark Corporate financial Instructions (CFI) and US GAAP requirements.
">
Additionally, this role will manage Free Cash Flow forecasting, reporting, and drive initiatives to deliver on cash targets.
">
A key aspect of this position is participating in projects and partnering with Kimberly Clark's Global Business Services to continuously improve and deliver best-in-class financial services.

Key Responsibilities:
">

* Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place in accordance with the CFIs.
">
* Maintain integrity of our financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
">
* Liaise with GBS & outsourced partners in the preparation and reporting of Statutory Accounts consistent with local accounting standards & regulatory requirements, including engagement with external auditors.
">
* Analyse monthly & YTD actual results, identify key drivers vs forecast, prepare and publish monthly Free cash flow report.
">
* Partner the business on working capital (AR, Inventory & AP) optimisation initiatives, track progress and report.
">
* Manage claims against general insurance.
">
* Assist with specific projects as needed to ensure financial controls and accounting treatment are considered.
">
* Participate in system user acceptance testing when required.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
To be successful in this role, you will require:
">
">
* A professional accountancy qualification or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
">
* Minimum 6 - 8 years' relevant business experience in accounting.
">
* Good appreciation and understanding of US & local accounting standards, practices and procedures.
">
* Excellent inter-personal and communication skills necessary to maintain good working relationships with senior management and other functions within KC.
">
* Excellent written and verbal communications.
">
* Excellent Excel skills for reporting and analysis purposes. Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies.
">
* Strong problem-solving & influencing skills.
">
* Good knowledge of ERP tools (preferably SAP).
