IEPro are working with several respected civil contractors to recruit experienced Project Engineers with DTMR experience for projects across Queensland.
These opportunities span both local roles in South East Queensland and FIFO positions on regional road packages. The contractors deliver major transport infrastructure works and operate with strong project systems, experienced leadership, and secure pipelines of work.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who understand TMR standards and want to progress their careers on technically strong road projects.
The Opportunity
As Project Engineer, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of DTMR road infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, and in line with program and commercial targets.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to drive consistent delivery outcomes.
The Role
In this role, you will:
* Support end-to-end delivery of DTMR road projects
* Interpret drawings, specifications, and TMR documentation
* Manage RFIs, technical queries, and project documentation
* Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers on site
* Assist with cost control, variations, and progress claims
* Monitor safety, quality, and environmental compliance
* Support programming, reporting, and forecasting activities
* Contribute to successful project handover and close-out
About You
To succeed, you will bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Strong understanding of TMR specifications and reporting requirements
* Background in pavements, drainage, earthworks, or road structures
* Ability to manage subcontractors and site coordination
* Strong commercial awareness and cost control exposure
* Clear communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach
