We’re looking for a passionate, driven, and dependable individual to become a key player on our team as an Automotive Electrician. Based at our Hobart Branch, this full-time role will support the maintenance and repair of our fleet, with a strong focus on automotive electrical work and mixed vehicle maintenance duties. Tasks and Duties
* Diagnose, repair and maintain automotive electrical systems across our motorhome and campervan fleet.
* Perform fault-finding and repairs on 12-volt electrical systems, including batteries, charging systems, lighting, wiring and vehicle accessories.
* Install, test and service electrical components and accessories as required.
* Carry out general vehicle maintenance and workshop duties as needed.
* Complete pre-hire safety inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and presented to a high standard.
* Assist with repairs and maintenance to motorhome and campervan bodies, fittings and internal components where required.
* Use workshop tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timeframes.
We are looking for a team member who focuses on detail, has excellent fault-finding skills, and, importantly, can resolve problems hands-on.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required for the Role
* Trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician is preferred.
* Previous experience in automotive electrical work is required.
* Experience in the caravan, campervan or motorhome industry is highly desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative and friendly team environment.
* Reliability, punctuality and strong time management skills.
* Strong and effective communication skills.
* Current and valid driver’s licence required.
