Responsibilities
Assist and enhance the current functions of the Accounts Payable process
Provide assistance to the procurement department, including administering the supplier register
Ensure integrity of data is maintained so that the financial and reporting information is timely and accurate
Process journal and other financial transactions across all Community Care financial activities
Reconcile accounts
Provide leave assistance across various finance functions where required
Assist in the preparation of data required for audit purposes
Qualifications
Finance/Accounting qualification
Knowledge and experience in the Accounts Payable function
Sound level of commercial accounting practice and technical financial accounting skills
Demonstrated effectiveness in gathering information and analysing problems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience working in a team, collaborating with employees within the organisation and with external agencies and personnel
Numerical, attention to detail, computer-literate, proven time-management skills and the ability to work proactively and with minimal direction
Proficient in Excel and spreadsheet applications and ability to adapt to new systems
