Job Title: Environmental Project Manager.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental consulting, project management, and team leadership. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. You will also lead a team of technical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to support their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage teams of technical staff, including workload allocation and staffing management. 2. Perform site investigations for a variety of contaminant sources, including landfills, RCRA sites, industrial facilities, brownfields, retail petroleum sites, and dry-cleaning facilities. 3. Execute project work related to due diligence, site investigation and characterization, remediation, and other environmental consulting areas. 4. Conduct field activities such as soil and groundwater sampling, installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, and indoor air sampling. 5. Develop and implement innovative solutions for complex issues related to vapor intrusion investigations. 6. Provide excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience in stakeholder communication and public speaking. 7. Support business development activities by fostering long-term client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. 8. Actively participate in professional and technical organizations relevant to your skill set and client needs. 9. Possess a BS degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. 10. Have at least 5 years of related environmental consulting experience, with local experience working with regulatory agencies in North Carolina.

Requirements:
1. Professional Registration (P.G. or P.E.), preferably in North Carolina. 2. Proficiency in Microsoft PC applications, including WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint. 3. Experience with implementing and supervising health and safety requirements. 4. Preferred 40-Hour Hazwoper certification. 5. Strong technical, analytical, and research skills. 6. Ability to pass a background check for clearance to work on private and government facilities.
