We are looking for a Safety Officer / Advisor to join a global business that operates in the manufacturing and logistics industry. This is a key role managing a number of sites in the inner western suburbs. We are looking for an experienced safety professional who has worked in a blue collar workplace and can build relationships at all levels.

**The role**
- Identify risk and develop procedures to reduce risk
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and workers
- Train workers and managers on safety best practice
- Work as part of a global business sharing best practice
- Manage investigations for any incidents that happen
**What we are looking for**
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally working with a blue collar workforce
- Experience working to ISO 45001 standards
- Experience managing investigations
- Strong background in developing safety documentation, procedures and policies
- Training experience would be advantageous
