The role involves partnering with families and carers to develop and implement personalized action plans that address their specific support requirements. This may include facilitating network meetings and delivering group training programs to enhance carers' abilities to sustain their caring roles.
As a Family Care Partner, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, allowing you to balance your schedule and prioritize your own well-being.

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess a Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health or AOD, or a tertiary qualification in social science, along with relevant work experience in the mental health sector or intentional peer support training.
You will also require demonstrated knowledge of family and caring roles and the impact on carers' health and wellbeing, as well as the ability to establish empowering and supportive partnerships with individuals, families, and carers.
* Possess personal lived experience of caring for someone with mental health challenges or psychosocial distress and recovery.
