Role Overview
As the Chief Executive Officer of Dudley Private Hospital & Ramsay Surgical Centre Orange, you will lead all aspects of strategic, operational, and cultural performance, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care in alignment with Ramsay Health Care's goals and values. Reporting to the State Operations Manager and working closely with a multidisciplinary executive team, you will be responsible for setting the hospitals' strategic direction, managing financial and clinical operations, and fostering a high-performing, responsive organisational culture.
You will oversee the development and execution of business plans, manage operational and capital budgets, and ensure compliance with all legislative and accreditation requirements. A key part of your role will involve leading workforce strategy, attracting and retaining skilled staff, and driving improvements in patient flow, safety, and service delivery. You will also play a vital role in community and stakeholder engagement, enhancing the hospital's profile and service offering across the region.
Candidate Profile
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Health Management, or a related field (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded)
* Proven executive leadership experience within a hospital or complex healthcare setting
* Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and performance targets
* Demonstrated ability to lead change, improve service delivery, and implement strategic initiatives
* Knowledge of the Australian healthcare environment, including funding and regulatory frameworks
* Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Commitment to high standards of patient care, safety, and staff wellbeing
