Job Opportunity: Satellite Communication Systems Specialist
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide exceptional maintenance support to satellite communication systems on a fixed-term basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provision of specialist maintenance services to SATCOM assets
* Configuration Management support to selected mission systems
* Warehouse and supply support activities for Breakdown Spares, Repairable Items and Support and Test Equipment
* Ensure compliance with governance and ITAR obligations
* Production of routine equipment maintenance reports
* Maintenance of strong customer relations and participation as a rostered member of the 24 x 7 x 365 on-call team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade Certificate III or IV in Communications or Electronic Engineering
* Senior technician will have at least three years relevant experience post-qualification
* Knowledge of and experience with terrestrial or Satellite Communications Systems
* Proficient in Microsoft office tools, especially Excel
* Defence security clearance (NV1)
