Your new role: As the Assistant Director of Nursing and Midwifery (Women's & Children's Service Line), you will provide contemporary operational and professional leadership across nursing and midwifery services, shaping governance, service delivery and workforce capability. You will do this by: * Providing senior clinical, operational and professional leadership across women's and children's services * Shaping and operationalising clinical and corporate governance frameworks * Leading service planning, performance monitoring and achievement of key operational and quality targets * Managing human, financial and material resources, including cost centre accountability * Partnering with executive, interdisciplinary and external stakeholders to deliver safe, effective and efficient care * Leading and supporting change, innovation, education and evidence-based practice * Acting as an expert professional resource in complex clinical, ethical and operational matters About you: You are a respected senior nursing and/or midwifery leader who brings strong strategic thinking, professional credibility and a collaborative leadership style, with: * Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Nurse and/or Midwife * Demonstrated senior leadership experience within complex health service environments * Advanced capability in clinical governance, workforce, financial and resource management * Proven ability to analyse data, manage performance and drive quality improvement * Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills * Experience supporting education, research and professional development within nursing and midwifery * A commitment to person-centred care, professional standards and continuous improvement Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
