About the Role
In this role, you will provide essential support to Project Managers and the Contracts team, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule. Your work will include:
* Acting as the central point of contact for project administration and contract coordination.
* Assisting with project management plans, tenders, submissions, and procurement.
* Preparing and submitting monthly progress claims, tax invoices, variations, extensions of time, RFI’s, SI’s, PC’s, and subcontractor adjustments.
* Compiling, registering, and distributing project correspondence, drawings, manuals, and CHEOPS reports.
* Coordinating and attending project meetings, preparing minutes, and assisting with site office administration.
* Supporting compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone with:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in project administration or contract administration within the commercial construction industry.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies and operations.
* Customer-focused, with the ability to foster strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and their representatives.
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
* Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with sharp negotiation, attention to detail and relationship skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the willingness to learn systems such as Aconex, Cheops and HammerTech.
