About The Role
Brookfield Place is home to BHP Iron Ore's state‐of‐the‐art Integrated Operations (IOPS) team. Our Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, using advanced real‐time technology to enable visibility and control across the entire Iron Ore supply chain. As a technology‐enabled centre of excellence, employees work collaboratively with site on a shift‐to‐shift basis to enable timely responses, improving safety and optimising value across the supply chain.
As a member of IOPS reporting to the AHS Training Supervisor you will implement training plans and develop resource material to maintain high capability. You will provide training in the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) for the IOPS team members dedicated to Autonomous Haulage.
Responsibilities
Your duties include and are not limited to:
* Design, develop, review and facilitate training content and Training Plans for AHS Controllers and Builders to support and maintain a high level of capability
* Ensure procedures are current and training is aligned to Statutory and WAIO operating procedures, including the RACI
* Monitor shift skills balance and coordinate training for Controller AHS and Builder AHS personnel to meet their role requirements
* Training and verification of capability for AHS Controller and Builder personnel to meet role requirements
* Ensure assessment tools align with agreed assessment guidelines
About You
We are seeking expressions of interest from those with backgrounds in delivering control training in Caterpillar's MineStar Command Autonomous Haulage System.
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across a range of teams
* Digital fluency and the ability to use technology
* Understanding of learning principles, frameworks and the integration of these into the design of training programs to facilitate best practice learning experiences for participants
* Ability to lead change and find new ways of adding value
* Ability to train and coach learners with varying levels of experience
* Strong commitment to continuous improvement with a focus on improving training materials and delivery methodologies
* Experience in mining operations with hands on experience in mine control fleet management systems
* Previous experience with an Autonomous fleet management operating system is highly desirable
* Experience using MineStar Command System (AHS Mine Controller or System Builder)
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
Tertiary qualifications in Training, Education, Learning and Development or a related discipline would be well regarded but are not essential.
