Field Equipment Technician
About this role:
This is a hands-on position working on farms and rural sites. You'll assemble, maintain, and repair grain handling equipment while representing our client on-site.
* Welding and fabrication (second class welder level)
* Assembly/disassembly of agricultural equipment
* Diagnosing and repairing faults
* Interpreting fabrication drawings and manuals
* Communicating with clients on-site
* Travelling to job sites and working away during the week
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
* Confident using welders, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
* Able to read and interpret technical drawings
* Great communication skills and client service focus
* Licences/Tickets: White Card, Forklift Licence, Driver's Licence
* Background in motor mechanics, fabrication, or similar trade is highly regarded
* Flexibility to travel and work away from home during the week
