Earthmoving Boilermaker / Fabrication Welder
Working within a fully equipped workshop environment, you will carry out fabrication, repair, and maintenance works across heavy earthmoving equipment, attachments, hook bins, and truck bodies. Overhead cranes and specialised tooling are provided to support safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication of structural steel from plans and workshop drawings
* Repairs to earthmoving equipment and attachments
* Repairs and modifications to hook bins and truck bodies
* General welding and fabrication duties within the workshop
* Maintaining high safety and quality standards at all times
Qualifications
* Strong MIG and Stick welding experience with mild and high tensile steels
* Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
* Commitment to workplace safety and team culture
* Permanent Australian residency or valid work rights
* Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol testing if required
* Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* ARC air gouging experience
* Previous heavy fabrication or earthmoving repair experience
* Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
* Excellent time management and attention to detail
