The Transformation Office: This office plans, coordinates, delivers, monitors and reports on organisational design changes. The Transformation Program Office will ensure work is effectively defined and sequenced, risks are managed, communication activities are effective, and benefits are defined and measured.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead service delivery maturity uplift through modern ways of working, using industry standards and best practice approaches. You will:
* Embed and uplift organisational service delivery capabilities, including Service Design, Agile, Lean, Product Management and Delivery Management.
* Apply strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills, guiding and mentoring staff, and working with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
* Work closely with project or delivery teams to design valuable, efficient and scalable services.
* Oversee and approve development and curation of learning materials, content and activities to coach, guide and advise on lean and human-centred ways of working.
* Lead internal and external reporting and communication activities, including monthly status reports, executive briefings and staff education events.
* Manage a small team of design and delivery professionals supporting projects and initiatives within the Transformation Office and across the organisation.
* Build strong internal and external relationships, leveraging them to positively influence stakeholders and meet organisational goals.
By being part of the Transformation Office's senior leadership team, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the branch, group and agency, while fostering a culture of psychological safety that enables all staff to perform at their best.
Requirements:
For this role, you will need 7+ years of experience in product management, service delivery, service design or related field. Qualifications or certifications are desirable but not mandatory. You should also have proven experience in driving service delivery maturity uplift in large organisations, experience managing, coaching and developing staff, excellent communication skills, and be eligible for security clearance.
